Podcast Archive: The Dance Megamix with Don Play

So this past week I was hired for a private event where I was told to play 70’s and 80’s disco music for four hours, using just four songs as inspiration. Those four songs were “Private Dancer” by Tina Turner, “I’m Your Boogie Man” by KC and The Sunshine Band, “Borderline” by Madonna, and “Heart of Glass” by Blondie. Can you believe it’s been 10 WHOLE YEARS of The Dance Megamix? That’s a full decade right there. This episode embodies what I hoped to do from the outset of creating my radio show — throwing a weekly radio party that pays homage to the history of dance music. Behold!
