This week, a huge surprise dropped on the house music world. Frankie Knuckles’ lost “lullaby” mix of Sounds of Blackness, “The Pressure Pt. 1,” was finally released. And by finally, I mean 35 actual years later. You read that right — 35 years. To pay homage to the late godfather of house music, I decided to play tracks inspired by Frankie Knuckles golden era at the Sound Factory and with Def Mix Productions. Enjoy!
